The Doc’s Inn is a 130-year-old Queen Anne Victorian home registered as a National Historical site. The Inn is conveniently located at 126 E Washington in Greencastle’s historic district, just one block from downtown Greencastle and DePauw University campus. Our town is located 40 minutes from the Indianapolis Airport and one hour from downtown Indianapolis, the Indy 500 motor speedway and Lucas Oil Stadium.
The Inn has 4 large guest rooms; each furnished with beautiful antiques sourced throughout the state. The main floor and entryway provides guests with an area to entertain and relax in an open-concept, 1000 square living room and entryway that features the home's original red oak, stain glass doors, hand-cast fixtures, grand staircase and original fireplace. The remainder of the main floor includes an elegant dining room that is perfect for gathering family and friends, a spacious music room and sitting area for gathering, and kitchen. Each room contains its own unique feature, from a spacious, private deck in the Landes room, to a king size bed in the Leatherman room and two full size bed options in the Rhea Room and Leadbetter Room. Every room now has it's own private bathroom. Each room also includes a plated, seasonal, scratch-made breakfast by our in-house chef, as well as some of the best coffee in town to accompany our hand-crafted pastries.
While our team here at Doc's loves kids, many victorian homes are not set up to safely accommodate children under 11. Please reach out to us before booking if you have a child in your party. We do reserve the right to deny children on-site.
